 Exports of industrial equipment The requirements of China's products for China are becoming more and more strict. Although there are many kinds of industrial equipment, UL's standards for specific products cannot be formulated very well, but basically the following standards must be followed. Let us follow the CE certification body of engineering machinery to have a specific introduction.
 
 
•    UL Subject 2011 – Factory Automation Equipment
•    UL 50 – Enclosures for Electrical Equipment, different types of enclosures are defined depending on the environment (eg Types 1, 2, 3, 3R, 3S, 4, 4X, 5, 6, 6P, 12, 12K and 13)
•    UL 508 – Industrial Control Equipment,Requirements for most electrical components, including contactors, relays, pushbutton switches, signal lights, and various accessories；Drives (including inverters, frequency converters) and dynamic brake modules in the standard UL 508C, see below
•    UL 508 A – Industrial Control Panels
•    UL 508C – Power Conversion Equipment，Includes structural, performance and identification requirements for drive and dynamic brake modules；SU 2011 (Outline) requires all drive components to be UL listed or UL approved components
 
•    NFPA 79 – Industrial Machinery，It includes requirements for housing structure, grounding, wire color and size, isolation protection circuit, controller and marking. The requirements for control cabinets for industrial machinery are equivalent to those in sections 65 to 67 of UL 508A.
•    NFPA 70 – National Electrical Code (NEC)；All of the above UL standards are based on this specification
 
   These are the basic requirements, but it depends on whether the company is applying for the whole machine or the control part. The focus of these two applications is different, and there will be standard differences.
