Beverage Packaging Machinery CE Certification Requirements

The safety combination principles for CE certification requirements for beverage packaging machinery products are as follows:
(a) The manufacture of mechanical equipment must be suitable for its function and, without prejudice to the conditions of the manufacturer, pose no danger to the personnel who commission and repair the equipment. The purpose of the action must be to eliminate the risk of accidents during the foreseeable life cycle of the machine, including the assembly and disassembly phases, and even the risk of accidents due to foreseeable anomalies.
  (b) When choosing the most appropriate method, the manufacturer must take the following measures in the order specified:
——Eliminate or reduce the danger as much as possible (intrinsically safe design and manufacture of mechanical equipment);
  ——For the dangers that cannot be ruled out, take the necessary protective measures;
——The user will be notified of the residual hazard due to any defects in the protective measures used, indicating whether any specific training is required and any requirements for the provision of personal protective equipment are clearly defined.
(c) When designing, manufacturing mechanical equipment and writing instructions, manufacturers must not only envisage the normal use of mechanical equipment, but must also envisage a reasonably desirable use. Mechanical equipment must be designed to prevent abnormal use that may be dangerous. Otherwise, the user must be reminded in the instructions that the mechanical equipment should not be used (experience suggests that this type of use may occur).
(d) The principles of ergonomics must be considered to minimize operator fatigue, discomfort and psychological stress under predetermined conditions of use.
  (e) When designing and manufacturing mechanical equipment, manufacturers must consider operator constraints, that is, the use of personal protective equipment (such as shoes, gloves, etc.) must be or foreseeable.
  (f) Mechanical equipment must be supplied with basic special equipment and accessories to enable commissioning, maintenance and safe use.
