1. Brazil's ANATEL certification is aimed at the authentication of telecom products, which is divided into two kinds: mandatory and voluntary certification. Its approval procedures are the same for domestic and foreign products in Brazil. If the product is subject to compulsory certification, the test results and reports must be consistent with the rules and regulations adopted by ANATEL. Products need to obtain authorization certificates issued by ANATEL before they are put into use. ---ce certification body
2. The types of telecommunications equipment require mandatory certification:
(1) type I:
B, A device that connects a private telecommunication network to a FSTS network.
C, A device that provides FSTS services with the purpose of providing value-added services.
(2) type II:
A, Type I does not cover any equipment that uses radio. Such as low voltage devices, unlicensed equipment and antennas.
(3) type III:
A, Type I or II does not cover any equipment controlled by ANATEL rules and regulations.
3,the matters need attention of NATEL certificate
A, All products in the ANATEL announcement list need to be certified.B. The book / Authorised holder (importer, manufacturer) must be confirmed by Brazil.
C. The certificate is valid before cancellation, and the other two types of certificates are valid for two years.
D, Manuals, installation instructions and warning signs must be in Portuguese. Other documents can be used in English.
E. It is necessary to have a signboard, which should contain the following information:
ANATEL logo authentication number (bar code); manufacturer name; manufacturing year; model number; serial number; distributor's registration number.
