IEC 62471:2006 & EN 62471 standard
1, the background:
(IEC 62471:2006 & EN 62471:2008 will be implemented in September 1, 2009 this year. All LED lamps will be added to the standard from now on.The IEC/EN 60825-1 report can also be used for overdue periods, but it will be completely invalid by September 2010.IEC/EN60825 is a single wavelength, read a number (laser products are single wavelength).IEC/EN62471 is multi band, and it can also measure eyes, skin, angle of view, sensitivity and reaction time.

2, applicable products: all lamps (except laser class), proximity principle.

3, test range: 200nm-3000nm
4, what to measure: the parameters are irradiance (W/M2) and radiance (irradiance / field of view).
1, the ultraviolet harm of the skin and eyes;
2, the near ultraviolet harm of the eyes (315-400nm);
3, the harm of the blue light of the retina (generally understood as a large light source).
4, the damage of retinal blue light (small light source);
5, the heat damage of the retina;\
6, retinal heat hazard (weak light 780-1400nm);
7, infrared radiation of the eyes (780-3000nm);
8, the heat damage of the skin (380-3000nm);
(Note: at present, only the first 2 items are generally tested. Of course, the more comprehensive the test item is, the cost is higher).
