     SRMC certification (also known as SRRC certification)

      The State Radio Monitoring Center, SRMC, which was the predecessor of the State Radio Regulation Committee (SRRC), is the only machine that has been authorized to test and authenticated radio model approval in the mainland of China. At present, China has set special frequency ranges for different types of radio transmitting equipment, and not all frequencies are legally used in China. In other words, all radio transmitters that are sold or used in their territory will provide different frequencies. In addition, applicants must pay attention to the prescribed categories of certain radio transmitting equipment. It is not only required to apply for "radio type approval and certification", but also to apply for approval of China Compulsory Certification (CCC) and / or entry permit (MII).

    The national radio monitoring center is a directly owned unit of the People's Republic of China Ministry of information industry. It is mainly responsible for radio monitoring and radio spectrum management, and is the supporting body of radio management in China. The center consists of 10 offices, 1 state-level monitoring stations, 8 state-level shortwave / satellite monitoring stations, 1 ultrashort wave monitoring stations and 1 data backup centers. There are 152 staff members, including 117 in Beijing, 35 outside Beijing, and 119 with bachelor's degree or above, accounting for 79% of the total number of employees. Among them, there are 96 intermediate or above titles, accounting for 63% of the total number of employees.

      The center has always stood at the forefront of China's radio monitoring work, and has completed the daily monitoring, equipment detection, spectrum research and so on. It has made remarkable achievements in many important monitoring tasks such as protecting the spectrum of civil aviation navigation and ensuring the safety of radio information during major national activities. It plays an irreplaceable role in the radio management of the whole country.

    In recent years, the center has constantly strengthened the construction of talents and technological facilities; it has effectively promoted the modernization and scientization of radio management. At present, the national radio management information network has been basically completed. The national radio short wave monitoring network and the national radio satellite monitoring network have also begun to take shape. The ultrashort wave monitoring network in Beijing and its surrounding areas is stepping up construction. The center also has an international first-class radio equipment testing laboratory.

     At present, the center is committed to improving radio management support capacity in an all-round way. And strive to make new contributions to the healthy development of China's radio industry.
