The VDE certification process
 

1.  for the first time consulting:
Provide enterprise profile and VDE certified products explain such as: product model, name, parts list, drawings, working drawings, technical parameters, instructions, etc.. --CE certification authority
2. Establish the agency relationship:
The client (applicant) and the agent (CEI) sign the agency agreement, to clarify the responsibilities and obligations of each party in the form of written contract, and ensure that the two sides can cooperate closely in the application process, so that the application can be successfully launched and then achieve the desired objectives. At the same time, the priory statement is a legislative authority that CEI must be submitted to the VDE to prove itself authorized by the applicant.
3. Confirmation of application:
When VDE receiving the formal application form and the structure parameter list, the formal written confirmation of the application within about 2-4 weeks, And then send invoices, factory inspection questionnaires and other information.
4. sample delivery:
When VDE application was confirmed, then will be inform the specific sample delivery requirements and relevant standards basis on testing. Then samples must be sent to the relevant domestic or self testing lab predicted according to the standards after the sample is complete. Send the sample to VDE Safe and accurate though EMS after the predicted was passes.
(1) Once the test items are all passed, the applicant will be notified at the first time.
(2) The test results may also be defective. Some minor defects just need a little correction, and don’t require delivery sample again though the communication between certification body and VDE, so the VDE could issue the certification.
(3) When the test results appear a grave defects, the certification bodies will discuss the reasons for the failure with the applicant. If necessary, VDE will be sent back the samples for reference analysis. Go through the formalities for re inspection after the sample was modification and improvement, and delivery sample again until it qualified. If the sample is resending within six months, the cost of re testing will be a lot of benefits.
 
5. The factory inspection of VDE certification:
The factory review before certification and regular or irregular supervision review after certified. Before the factory review, the certification bodies will appoint experts to assist the manufacturing self-examination for the production facilities, experimental equipment, measurement and the whole quality system according in VDE requirements. When the inspectors proposed the rectification requirements, the experts will assist the factory as soon as possible on corrective measures and quickly implement until the review qualified.
6. Issued the VDE certificate
Under the premise of the factory inspection is successfully passed, if the sample test is qualified, the VDE will inform the applicant in timely, and the VDE certificate will be issued soon.
