Brief introduction of Brazil national certification
 

The National Institute of Metrology, Standardization and Industrial Quality (INMETRO) is national accreditation body of Brazil, and responsible for national standards.
Products in Brazil Products in Brazil in addition to meeting the Brazil standards set by the INMETRO, it also need the Mandatory INMETRO signs and an accredited institution signs, such as UL - BR signs.
 
INMETRO signs can be divided into two categories: compulsory and voluntary.

The communications equipment to enter Brazil
AssociacaoNCCCertificacoesdoBrasil(NCC-OCD) and UL signed a understanding memorandum, Approve UL testing telecommunication products according to national safety standards and EMC regulations, and issue OCD certification.
 
NCC-OCD is an organization for certification of communications products and vesting assent by National communications agency of the Brazil (ANATEL).
