KC Mark Certification Introduction
The Ministry of Knowledge Economy of Korea (MKE) announced on August 25, 2008 that the National Standards Board will implement a new national unified certification mark, named "The", from July 2009 to December 2010. KC Mark" Sign.
The new logo is called KC Mark, which stands for Korea Certification. The existing 13 mandatory symbols will eventually be unified under this new symbol.
One result of this initiative is to reduce suppliers' spending on certification fees, and to enable Korea KC Mark to gradually become a world brand certification. There is a drawback, however, that the recently enacted KCC logo will only be in effect for a few years and will eventually be unified under this new KC logo.
KC Mark Certification Future implementation plan
December 2008: Update of basic national regulations and existing laws
July 2009: MKE begins to implement national unified identification
January 2009 - December 2010: Improvement of regulations related to certification standards
January 2011: Complete the national unified logo to all mandatory certification
