CSA Certification Application Process
(1) Submit the application
At the beginning of the application for CSA certification mark, customers need to attach the following information:
• Product description (product manual, appearance drawing, explosion drawing)
• Product models and similarities and differences between models
• Related drawings such as circuit diagrams or structural diagrams
• Product parts list (including manufacturer name, model number, rated power supply, and CSA file number (if available))
• Other materials
We will arrange for the CSA official to give you quick feedback, provide a quotation, and sign a certification agreement with you. You will then receive our formal application form, including the project number, process arrangement, payment method and sample request.
(2) Provide test samples
• Provide samples of certified products
• Label your sample with project number
• If your product has been tested by other authorized organizations, please provide the relevant test report
(3) Respond to evaluation results
After the product has been tested, CSA officials will issue a FindingsLetter informing you of the results of the product testing and how to proceed with further testing and certification of the product.
• If a product does not pass a test, you may need to respond to the relevant item content or make necessary changes to the product.
• In order to successfully complete the entire certification process, you need to provide feedback on the evaluation results as soon as possible.
(4) Obtain CSA certification mark
When the product meets the requirements of the standard, the CSA official will issue you a certificate of conformity, authorizing you to use the CSA mark on the product.
