Japan PSE new law J60950(H22) and J3000(H21) provisions
J60950-1 (H22): The technical standard of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) for electrical products has been updated and promulgated in 2010/7/5. Among them, the old standard J60950(H19), which has a greater impact on the ITE industry, was also updated to J60950-1(H22) at the same time, and has been officially effective on October 1, 2010. The old standard J60950(H19) will be discontinued on October 1, 2013. J3000(H21): The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) has issued a new safety standard for J3000(H21), which has been implemented since September 1, 2010. The product items regulated in the new standard will be tested and evaluated with J3000(H21), and the safety standard of J3000(H21) will be added to the PSE certificate issued by the relevant issuing unit. The standard mainly affects products containing the household appliance connector (AC Inlet) class. It should be noted that the above provisions apply to the products of the two provincial orders.
