The introduction of REACH certification directive 
 

1, what is the REACH certification directive:
It is “Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals”； This is the European Union regulations for the prevention and control of all chemicals entering the market, and will be officially implemented in June 1, 2007.
2, the purpose of the REACH certification implementation:
To protect human health and environment, maintain and improve the competitiveness of the EU chemical industry; increasing the transparency of chemical information; reducing vertebrate tests; consistent with the EU's international obligations under the WTO framework; In the real sense, REACH will create a unified chemical management system within the EU, To enable enterprises following the uniform principles to production of new chemicals and products.
3, the main content of REACH certification:
-Registration: The volumes of all chemical substances’ annual production or import are more than 1 tons need to be registered, the volumes of all chemical substances’ annual production or import are more than 10 tons also need to submit Chemical Safety Report.
-Evaluation：That including files evaluation and material evaluation. File assessment is a verification that companies to submit the integrality and consistency of the registration dossiers. Material evaluation is to confirm the risk of chemical hazards to human health and the environment;
- Authorization：Authorization for the production and import of chemical substances which are certain risk characteristic and cause people attach great importance, including CMR (carcinogenic, mutagenic and biological toxic substances), PBT (persistence, bioaccumulation and toxicity of chemical substances), VPvB (high endurance, high bioaccumulation of chemical substances) etc;
- Restriction: if it is considered that a substance or a disposition, manufacture of products, and put on the market or apply will lead to risks to human health and the environment and cannot be fully controlled, will limit its production or import in the EU.  . --ETL certification body
