The process of Argentina certification:
The first step in certification is to select the appropriate certification bodies and laboratories.
 
IRAM is a certification institution in Argentina which has cooperative relations with multinational certification bodies. Details of IRAM can be found in www.iram.com.ar but only Spanish version of this site.
 
IRAM can accept the most of NCB issued the CB reports that covering national differences in Argentina.
 
The prototype is prepared by 220V/50Hz, it use of the Argentina standard IRAM 2073 to meet the requirements of the power cord plug.
 
After the prototype is tested according to the corresponding IEC standard, then the CB report is issued by NCB.
 
The accompanying report was submitted the Letter of application, letter of authorization, importer's declaration, product design drawings, parameters, electrical wiring diagrams, product photographs, Spanish nameplates and English manuals to IRAM at the same times.
 
To use the "S" logo on the product, a factory review is required that to ensure consistency in product production.
If the report submitted to IRAM has been approved, the product will be able to use the "S" sign.
