There are currently eight modes recognized in the European Union that use the ce authentication logo:
(1) Factory self-control and certification
ModuleA (Internal Production Control)
1, for simple, high-volume, non-hazardous products, only applicable to the application of European standards of production manufacturers.
2, the factory self-qualification assessment, self-declaration.
3, the technical documents are submitted to the national body for ten years, on the basis of which reviews and inspections can be used to determine whether the product complies with the directive, and the producer even has to provide the design, production and assembly process of the product for inspection.
4, there is no need to declare that its production process can always ensure that the product meets the requirements.
ModuleAb < / span > < / div >
1, the manufacturer does not produce according to European standards.
2, testing institutions for the special parts of the product for random testing.
ModuleB (EC Type Review)
The workshop sends samples and technical documents to the testing institution of her choice for review, and the testing institution issues a certificate.
ModuleC (consistent with type) +B:
The factory makes a declaration of conformity (consistent with the certified type), declaring a warranty of ten years.
ModuleD (Quality control in production process) +B:
This model focuses on the production process and final product control, and the factory produces according to the method approved by the testing authority (quality system EN29003), on the basis of which it declares that its product conforms to the certified type (conformance Declaration).
ModuleE (Product Quality Control) +B:
This mode only focuses on the final product control (EN29003), the rest is the same as ModuleD.
ModuleF (Product test) +B:
The factory makes a conformance declaration after assuring that its production process ensures that the product meets the requirements. An approved testing organization verifies the conformity of the product through full inspection or sampling inspection. The testing authority issues the certificate.
ModuleG (test one by one) :
The factory declares that it complies with the requirements of the directive, and submits the technical parameters of the product to the testing institution, which issues a certificate after inspecting the product one by one.
ModuleH (Integrated Quality Control) :
This model focuses on the design, production process and final product control, while the rest are of the same ModuleD+ModuleE, in which mode F+B and mode G are suitable for products with particularly high risk.
