Brazil National Certification profile
TheNationalInstituteofMetrology, StandardizationandIndustrialQuality (INMETRO) is the national accreditation bodies (AccreditationBody), is responsible for national standards.
In addition to complying with the Brazilian standards established by INMETRO, products in Brazil must also bear the mandatory INMETRO mark and the mark of a certification and accreditation body, such as the UL-BR mark.
INMETRO marks can be divided into two categories: mandatory and voluntary.

Communication equipment into Brazil
The official Brazilian telecommunication certification bodies AssociacaoNCCCertificacoesdoBrasil (NCC - OCD) and UL understanding signed the agreement, approved UL according to the national safety standards and EMC test telecom products, issue the certification of OCD.
NCC-OCD is the body authorized by the Brazilian National Communications Agency (ANATEL) to certify communications products.
