UL Certification mark
UL certification mark classification, introduction
The UL certification mark is a recognized safety certification mark in the United States and North America, and the products with this mark are equivalent to obtaining a safety quality credit card, and its reputation has been accepted by the majority of consumers. Therefore, the UL certification mark has become a special passport for relevant products (especially mechanical and electrical products) to enter the United States and the North American market.
UL certification marks are divided into three categories, namely, listing, grading and recognition marks. The main component of these marks is UL's pattern, and they are all registered trademarks. They are applied to different service products and are not universal.
Class R column name tag
The class R column name tag consists of four parts:
a UL column name pattern symbol.
b text “ LISTED” . This text indicates that the product is a listed service.
c The third part is the control number. This is a specific code that UL assigns to each applicant for each type of product to strengthen the control of UL marks. This code consists of four digits and/or letters and is described in the column name marking data page of the tracking inspection specification.
d Name of the product. If the UL mark is not used on the product in the form of a label, this part may appear elsewhere on the product.
Note: Prior to January 2008, both the UL and C-UL marks could be applied to products listed or approved for both UL and C-UL, but by 2008, the marks in column 3 of the table above must be used.
UL Certification mark ownership
UL holds ownership of several registered marks. The application of these different marks is determined by the service category (listing, classification or recognition) of the individual product. Although your company has signed with UL" Tracking Inspection Service Agreement" Or other agreements, or that you have paid UL for its inspection or follow-up inspection services, does not mean that you can begin or continue to use the UL mark. It is important to understand that UL maintains ownership of its logo at all times, and UL must maintain the integrity of the meaning contained in its logo. The UL mark may only be used in the manner and circumstances specified. " The logo" This term refers to any of the marks owned by UL.
