The introduction of CSA Certification
 
CSA is an abbreviation of the Canadian Standards Association. It founded in 1919 and it is the Canada's first nonprofit institution specializing in the development of industrial standards. In 2001, CSA was divided into three associations; there are Canadian Standards Institute, management system certification and International Certification Association. Responsible for international certification is CSA International, headquartered in Toronto. The overseas also has branches, such as the United States, China, Hongkong, Taiwan, and India. In the North American market, products such as electronics and electrical appliances are needed to be certified in safety. At present, CSA is the Canada's largest security certification body and the one of the world's most famous safety certification organizations. It provides safety certification for machinery, building materials, electrical appliances, computer equipment, office equipment, environmental protection, medical treatment, fire prevention, safety, sports and entertainment. CSA International has four laboratories in Canada. From 1992 to 1994, they were formally recognized by the United States Department of labor's occupational safety and Health Administration (OSHA). According to the rules of OSHA, after obtaining this recognition, this recognition will serve as a national accredited test laboratory for testing and certification of a range of products in accordance with more than 360 us ANSI/UL standards.
